Meet the Staff

At Little Ducks preschool, we are lucky to have a wealth of highly qualified staff with many years of experience. Many of the staff have their own children too, which means we understand parental concerns.

​​Kealiegh. Pre-School Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead 

I am a married Mum to 2 children, A boy born in 2010 and a girl born in 2012. We have also added to the family with our dog Misty. I’ve been working in childcare since the age of 16 and It has always been something that I have wanted to do since I was a very young age. I have been at Little Ducks for 6 years I absolutely love it here! I am on the verge of completing my Level 5 in Childcare and Management. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on numerous walks, and indulging in singing and dancing, which led me to join a drama group, and we are currently rehearsing for a panto.

I currently hold a Level 4 in Nursery Management, and a Level 3 Certificate in Children’s care and education. I also hold designated safeguarding, generalist safeguarding, Paediatric first aid, FGM, Prevent, Allergy Awareness and Level 2 Food Hygiene.

Plus other qualifications and courses.

Emily. Deputy Manager  

I live in Stanford in the Vale with my three children:1 daughter and 2 sons 

In my leisure time, I have a passion for sewing children's clothes and accessories. Additionally, I enjoy reading and listening to true crime podcasts.

I have had the pleasure of working at Childrey Little Ducks for the past two years and I am currently working towards my Level 3 in childcare. 

I have Generalist Safeguarding, FGM, Prevent certificate, and Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate

Ayako. Qualified Preschool Assistant. 

I am a married Mum to a daughter born in 2014. I live in Wanatge and have been at Little Ducks for 6 years. In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy outdoor activities. Our family loves going on walks, riding our bikes, and camping during the summer months.

I currently hold a Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people’s workforce: early learning and childcare pathway.

I also hold Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene, Allergy Awareness, FGM, and Prevent certificates.

I have worked in childcare settings throughout my career, over 10 years, both in Japan and England.

I teach the children at Little Ducks Japanese.

I'm working towards my Forest School level 3 qualification.

Katie. Qualified Preschool Assistant. 

I have been at Little Ducks for almost three years.
I am a mum of one little girl who I now in year 3 at the local primary school.
We live just outside of Wantage and love to spend our free time exploring the countryside looking for the best climbing trees, usually to sit and eat our picnics in!
I love to work out in my free time and relax in the garden with a good book, oh and of course spending time with friends and family.
Having just one child means that I often have to take on the role of play mate/sibling, so you are likely to see me in the local park wizzing on the zip wire or getting stuck half way up the climbing frame!

I currently hold an NNEB (Level 3) in childcare. 

I have Generalist Safeguarding, FGM, Prevent certificate, and Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate

Kiera. Unqualified Preschool Assistant. 

 I work at Little Ducks 5 days a week and I am currently in the process of obtaining my Level 3 qualification in childcare.

I live in Wantage with my family and in my leisure time, I have a passion for knitting.  Additionally, I enjoy playing musical instruments and going on walks with my dogs.

I am genuinely looking forward to getting to know you and your little ones.

Carrie. Unqualified Pre-School Administrator 

I am new to Little Ducks and I began my journey in September 2024. I am a married mum of 2 children, a son born in 2017 and a daughter who was born in 2019. I love spending time with my family and taking our dog for long walks. In my free time, I also like going to the gym.

I have Generalist Safeguarding, FGM, and Prevent certificates.

Sandra. Pre-School Administrator 

I have recently joined Little Ducks after working in another pre-school for 6 years. I work two days a week here and when I'm not here, I work in a primary and secondary schools.

I am a mum to two children, my daughter is in secondary school now and my son is finishing primary school this year. I enjoy swimming and trips out with my children, when I'm not ferrying them to their various extra curricular activities!

I have Generalist Safeguarding, FGM, and Prevent certificates.
